Hummus

 

 ~ Makes about 1 cup ~

1 lb garbanzo beans

1 T toasted cumin   (shake cumin in dry hot pan just until fragrance releases)

2 T Tahini

3 T lemon juice

1/3 to 1/2 cups olive oil

Lots of salt to taste

 

  • Put all ingredients except oil into food processor bowl.

  • Pulse to roughly chop.

  • Ddd oil with machine running.

  • Add water if too thick; taste for salt and lemon and adjust.
