Toasted Basmati Vinaigrette

~ Makes 4 Cups ~

2 cups basmati rice

5 cups Canola oil

salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste

 

  • Sauté rice in a large dry sauté pan until toasted, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat, add 2 cups oil and let sit for one hour.

Strain rice from oil.

In blender, place 3 cups fresh oil and1/4 cup rice. Blend well.

  • Add salt, pepper and lemon to taste.
