Caramelized Chicken Tenders

 

Serves 6-8

 

1 pound chicken tenders

 

Sauce:

1 cup spaghetti or marinara sauce

1-1/2 ounces Worcestershire Sauce

1/2 Tablespoon ancho puree

1-1/2 ounces soy sauce

3/4 cup molasses

 

 

  • Mix together sauce ingredients.  Reserve ˝ cup.   Marinate chicken in remaining sauce, refrigerated, for one hour.

 

  • Drain excess marinade and place chicken on hot grill.

 

  • Grill three to five minutes. 

 

  • During the last two minutes of cooking, brush chicken  with reserved sauce until richly glazed and caramelized.
